Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition Insert & Organiser
If you're here, it's because you own Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition along with the Discovery, Foundations and Crisis expansions, packed into the larger Kickstarter expansion box. This insert is built around a two-ended table setup, so setup and pack-down come down to lifting the right trays out and handing them to each side of the table.
It supports premium sleeves (Dragon Shield matte shown in the images), works with vertical or flat card storage, and needs no lid lift. Please note it does not fit in the retail box.
WHAT'S IN THE SET
Two card shoes for the project cards, holding every project card in the game — lay them flat with discards behind an adjustable divider, or stand them vertically
Two MegaCredit and forest token trays
Two 3VP and tag trays for use with milestones and the expansion wild-tag cards
Four separate labelled card trays, tall enough to take the card dividers without bending them: Phase and upgraded phase cards, Corporations, Crisis cards, and Special Projects
Two primary setup trays for player cubes, base oceans, clear parameter-tracking cubes, milestones and awards
A separate Crisis tray for the Crisis oceans, 1VP tokens, Crisis tokens and detriment tokens
A phase tracker tile tray with a little extra storage
A player aid tray for sleeved player aids
Room for the Kickstarter extras: reduced-size clear cubes, the updated game board and the six promo corporation cards, plus the original Ares Expedition Kickstarter extras
ABOUT THE SPECIAL PROJECTS TRAY
We wanted the card shoes to hold everything, but not everyone plays with the full deck. So we built a dedicated Special Projects tray for the cards that interact with awards, upgraded phase cards and 5+ player counts. That way your shoes stay stocked with only the projects you want in play, and the rest live tidily apart.
ABOUT THE BOTTOM-OF-BOX TRAYS
Plenty of players stop using the phase tracker tiles and player aids after a game or two. We gave those their own trays so they can sit quietly in the bottom of the box, out of the way but still there if you want them.
MADE TO ORDER
Everything is printed to order in PLA on our own machines here in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Please allow 5-10 working days for printing before dispatch. Keep your insert out of hot cars and away from sunny windowsills for long periods.
Board game, expansion and components are NOT included. This is an unofficial accessory designed to fit the game and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by the game's publisher.
