Pylos Mini packs all the brain-bending tension of the classic abstract strategy game into a compact, travel-friendly wooden set. Two players take turns placing spheres on a 4x4 grid, building upwards into a pyramid. Be the player to place the final sphere at the summit and victory is yours.
The clever twist? Whenever you complete a square with your own spheres, you can reclaim a piece back from the board – and a sphere resting on a higher level can be pulled up from below, letting you leapfrog your way to the top. Every placement is a puzzle of economy and foresight, with no luck involved whatsoever.
Beautifully crafted in wood and compact enough to slip into a bag, this Mini edition delivers the same elegant 15-minute duels as the full-size game. Simple to learn, endlessly satisfying to master.
