Panic Lab
Amoebas have escaped and are slithering around in all directions – catch them fast! In Panic Lab, the player-scientists have their hands full trying to figure out which amoeba to catch and where it might have oozed off to. Shuffle the 25 cards and lay them out in a circle, then let the frantic hunt begin.
At the start of each round, one player rolls four special dice indicating the colour, shape and pattern of the amoeba being sought, along with the colour of the lab it left and its direction of travel. Competing simultaneously, players race to find the lab, then move in the right direction to spot the amoeba – which may, of course, be striped and not spotted! Watch for vents (skip to the next vent in the circle) and mutation devices that change your search criteria entirely. Zap!
The first player to slap their hand on the correct card collects a token, and the first to gather five tokens wins. Fast, chaotic and endlessly replayable, this is a superb party filler for 2 to 10 budding scientists.
