Joking Hazard — How to Play
Video tutorial · playthroughs & reviews

Joking Hazard is a party card game where players compete to create the funniest (and often most inappropriate) three-panel comic strips. Based on the wildly popular Cyanide & Happiness webcomic, the game challenges you to combine stick-figure comic panels into absurd narratives. Each round, one player judges while everyone else races to finish a comic strip with the perfect punchline from their hand of cards.

Gameplay is simple: draw seven cards, the deck reveals the first panel, the judge plays the second, and everyone else picks a third card to complete the strip. The judge picks the winner based on which comic made them laugh hardest. With 350 unique panels in the deck, you'll create millions of possible combinations—from darkly hilarious to jaw-droppingly offensive. Rounds are fast, and the rotating judge keeps everyone engaged.

This is a game for groups who enjoy Cards Against Humanity-style humour and aren't easily offended. It scales well from 3 to 10 players, though it shines brightest with 5 or more people willing to embrace the chaos. If your game nights involve dark comedy and questionable taste, Joking Hazard delivers laughs by the panel.
