Akropolis: Athena (Expansion)
Return to the sun-drenched cities of the Ancient Mediterranean with Akropolis: Athena, an expansion that adds a fresh strategic layer to the acclaimed city-building base game. Here, architects vie for the favour of Athena, goddess of wisdom, war and artisans, seeking riches and honour by completing specific Construction cards through clever tile placement.
As you build layouts within your city that match the Construction cards, you'll acquire pieces of the Statue of Athena and earn Mini-tiles to enhance your metropolis. Each architect can complete a given card only once, so careful resource management and thoughtful placement are key to maximising your points. Complete the Statue and you'll score bonus points for your Stones, adding delicious extra depth to the tug of tactical decisions.
Seamlessly integrating with the core Akropolis rules, this expansion is a must-have for fans. As Don't Be Board put it: "If you like Akropolis, you should get this expansion." A Dice Tower Seal of Approval winner and a certified hidden gem, Athena keeps your builds fresh, challenging and endlessly replayable.
