Arkham Horror: Lovecraft Letter — How to Play

Video tutorial · playthroughs & reviews

Step into the mist-shrouded streets of Arkham with this thrilling twist on the beloved Love Letter formula. Arkham Horror: Lovecraft Letter combines the swift deduction and bluffing of the classic card game with a maddening dose of Lovecraftian horror, as players deduce, dodge and eliminate their rivals to be the last investigator standing.

The clever new mechanic is Insanity. Certain cards let you go mad, unlocking powerful special abilities, but should you fail an Insanity check, you're out of the round entirely. This delicious push-your-luck tension gives the familiar deduction game a whole new edge, rewarding daring play while punishing the reckless.

Quick to learn and fast to play, it's the perfect filler for game nights and a fantastic gateway into the wider Arkham Horror universe. Games last just a few tense minutes, making it dangerously easy to play just one more round.
