In this clever card-laying game, each player builds a personal realm in the play area in front of them, drafting cards and placing them one at a time, orthogonally adjacent to those already laid down. But beware — several terrain types come with laying constraints, and failing to satisfy them means the card is flipped face-down, yielding no Stars at the end of the game.

The heart of the game is a wonderfully tense 3-card draft. Your playing partners are bound to pass you cards that are awkward to place, so you'll have to make the best of the worst. From this constrained optimisation comes the real pleasure of the game — squeezing points from difficult hands, chasing vertical and horizontal scoring bonuses, and outmanoeuvring the mischievous Tzimimes.

Playable from 1 to 4 players and suitable for ages 10 and up, this compact box packs a satisfying puzzle into every turn. Contents include 93 cards, a score book, a score booklet and a rulebook.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1003/9505/7536/files/01a1515c-4b8e-71b3-bed0-f1accb99994f_52fc7f8c-b5a2-4afc-a360-d91b3a3fd454.png?v=1793178955
